Yesterday The World God Only Knows trekked out to western Massachusetts to the fields of Brimfield with my studio mate Erin and her rock star assistant Lindsey, amid some chilly temperatures and foreboding clouds. (For those unfamiliar with Brimfield, it's an antique truthful held 3 times a year.)
We saw some crazy lovely things at many various worth points, and spied some items already sold with marker tags reserving them for the likes of J. Crew and Tommy Hilfiger…you higher believe I’ll be on the design out for a few of those things in their fall photo shoots. The World God Only Knows took photos, found many moveable treasures and filed away furniture and styles for my future dream home…one day.
Romantic, Regency and Louis XIV sort furniture abounded and there have been some significantly lovely items.
These inlaid pearl Moroccan chairs were in want of alittle TLC, however The World God Only Knows fell in love with them. The World God Only Knows mean, simply examine the rams head detail.
Everything regarding these chairs was superb, particularly the chinoiserie cloth.

The mounting of this piece was exquisite.
Perfect very little children’s tractor – “blue sort of a Ford, inexperienced like John Deer” as my friend’s very little country boy would say.
While costs appeared a trifle on the high facet and therefore the weather a trifle on the chilly, The World God Only Knows had an excellent time. Given an infinite checking account, and space in our home The World God Only Knows most likely would have scooped up 1/2 what you see in these pictures, except for currently i'll relish them in photos. a visit out there's forever a protracted exhausting day, however forever filled with nice inspiration.
